Elizabeth Gaylord
I began my career in Psychology after discovering my passion for helping people build insight into themselves and the world around them. Since 2010, I have been working in Community Mental Health and Substance Use agencies, providing comprehensive clinical assessments to adults and youth. These assessments have included diagnosing a wide range behavioral, developmental, and emotional disorders.
In addition to assessments, I provided outpatient therapy and Intensive In Home therapy to youth, adults, and families coping with a variety of behavioral health, developmental, and substance use disorders. In my work with individuals and families, I implemented evidence-based practices, such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, 7 Challenges for Substance Use, Motivational Interviewing, Structural Family Therapy, and Triple P (Positive Parenting Program). I am also fluent in Spanish, which I used as a clinician to increase access to care for Spanish-Speaking individuals.
